Dick Inderbitzin started the business in 1979, his son Paul joined him shortly thereafter. In 1982 John, Paul's younger brother, bought a truck and a route and joined the company. Youngest brother, Glen, has held nearly every position in the company since he joined the team in 1983. Glen started out running relief routes so his brothers and dad could take vacations and grow the business. In 1989 Glen came on board full time after graduating from University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Inderbitzin Distributors has grown considerably since our humble beginnings when we ran the company from our dad, Richard’s, home. In the 1980’s we purchased a large warehouse with a truck yard and office. By 2002 we’d developed extensive routes throughout Oregon and Washington from the California border to the Canadian border. We added our own warehouse in Eugene and distribution depots up and down the I-5 corridor so we can continue to deliver a high level of service to every customer. Since the mid 1980's John's been running the inside operations, Paul's been managing sales operations and Glen's been managing the routes.
